Fishermen
My love for photography is deeply entwined with my appreciation of beauty, and based on what I’ve seen, the most beautiful part of the day is sundown. I have a deep appreciation for sunsets. What’s not to love about the flattering warm light, the color of the sky and the time when the sun gives way to the comfort of the night… It also reminds me of that time of day when the school day was over or when I used to spend my time at the beach and start drinking because it was already “five-thirsty” in the afternoon. It’s the perfect time to dig your toes into the sand, lay back and have a cool drink surrounded by friends.
I had countless sunset photos until my hard drive decided to die. Thankfully my favorite one was saved online…
I decided to call this piece “Fishermen”… They were moving towards the shore when I captured this… It lasted for a second and they were gone. The sky really was purple.
